Bill, That is an excellent assessment of the Stars at this point. I do feel the Stars are more talented (even without Brad Richards), focused on team play, and much better coached than last year when they blew their playoff chance. I believe the Stars will maintain a high level of play and make the playoffs this year but I am concerned because the remaining schedule is brutal - 2 games each against the Canucks, a Sharks team that could start a winning streak at any time and a surging Flames team. Plus there are games against the very strong Blues and Preds and a Blackhawk team soon to get Toews back. The Stars could play well and still lose some important games.

Our schedule is tough but the Yotes, Kings, and Sharks have tough schedules as well. Winning the division is going to be tough but I agree I think we can hold onto a playoff spot. They have to avoid a rough stretch of losing three or even two in a row. Hopefully some of those other teams hit or continue a rough patch and drop out of the picture.
